Psychological Resources in Human Service Work
The IXth European Conference on Organizational Psychology and Health Care
Dresden, 5 - 8 October 2005
Working life in Europe is changing rapidly - with obvious consequences everywhere around us. To provide an arena for analyses and discussions of these developments, the European Network of Organizational Psychologists (ENOP) initiated a series of conferences on organizational psychology and health care. Since 1985 several conferences have taken place in Cardiff, València (1990), Cracow (1993), Munich (1995), Utrecht (1997), Genth (1999), Stockholm (2001), Vienna (2003), and resulted in several publications (books and special issues). Since in occupational research a positive view on psychological and health aspects attracts increasing attention, the coming conference will focus on Psychological Resources in Human Service Work, such as job decision latitude, human oriented leadership, social support or similar constructs.
This IXth European Conference on Organizational Psychology and Health Care will be organized by the Department of Work and Organizational Psychology of the Dresden University of Technology, in cooperation with the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (FIOSH). This conference will be held 5 - 8 October 2005 in the beautiful surrounding of the baroque downtown Dresden, Germany. We are pleased to welcome as keynote speakers
Anna Leonova, Moscow State Lomonosov University, Russia
Michael West, Aston University Birmingham, United Kingdom
Winfried Hacker, Dresden University of Technology, Germany
